Flocked Christmas Garland and Stockings

Monday, November 14, 2022

Happy Monday!  I've been getting questions about my flocked garland and stocking holders, so I figured that I would put together a quick post.

I prefer a lightly flocked look on my greenery so I mixed flocked garland with non-flocked to achieve this look.

Once I have fluffed and interspersed the branches of the two different kinds of garland, then I add in different floral picks such as the gold glitter antlers, gold branches, pine boughs, and whatever catches my eye.  I tend to add the most on the end that drapes down (see above).

I keep the garland in place by securing the gold snowflake stocking holders with 3M tabs. This keeps the hangers from falling down even when the stockings are filled.  I like to stuff my stockings with white tissue paper so that they always appear full and fluffy.

Lastly, I drape a couple of thin metallic beaded strands for extra dimension.  That's how to get a lush, lightly flocked garland with fluffy stockings.

Serena & Lily Artichoke Pillows for Less

Friday, November 11, 2022

I fell in love with the Serena & Lily Artichoke pillows but I didn't love the $250 each price tag.  So I started scheming  collaborating with Christina of Parker Home Designs.
